Cheap HP iTel A100C Released, “Twins” OnePlus 15
Similar design to OnePlus 15
The ITEL mobile phone vendor has just launched its newest smartphone, the A100C. This phone offers a number of interesting features, ranging from adequate screens, large batteries to good device durability. One of the things that makes this phone attract attention is its design which is very similar to the OnePlus 15, even though the phone has not been officially released.
The similarity of the design is seen on the cross section and frame of the phone. The Itel A100C cross section is generally plain without a pattern, except for the Blaze Blue color variant which has a pattern resembling the waves in the sea. On the back, a square camera module with curved angles at all four corners is a hallmark. This module looks like two cameras arranged vertically to form a capsule. In addition to the camera, there is an LED flash which is also designed like a capsule, but smaller.
The combination of the camera module design and the iTel A100C rear camera makes it similar to the OnePlus 15. Although the OnePlus 15 has not been officially released, the design has been shared by the company via social media including X/Twitter. The OnePlus 15 also has a square camera module with a capsule-like camera, but this phone will be equipped with three cameras, one of which is placed above an LED flash. This difference makes the OnePlus 15 LED lamp design slightly different from the iTel A100C.
In addition to its cross-section, the iTel A100C also has a flat frame like the OnePlus 15. However, the front view of this phone is still old school because it is equipped with bangs. Unlike the OnePlus 15 which has adopted a punch hole.
ITEL A100C Specifications
The iTel A100c comes with a 6.6-inch screen, 720 x 1,612 pixels resolution, 16.7 million colors, 90 Hz refresh rate and 400 nits brightness. The screen is equipped with bangs that accommodate a 5 MP front camera. Meanwhile, the rear camera is equipped with an 8 MP resolution. The phone is only equipped with one rear camera, although the design looks like it has a dual camera.
In the hardware aspect, the iTel A100C is powered by a Unisoc T7100 system on chip (SOC). This 12 nanometer chipset has a CPU with a clock speed of up to 1.8 GHz and a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU. This chip is combined with RAM options ranging from 2/64 GB to 4/128 GB.
The performance of the iTel A100C is also supported by a 5,000 mAh battery which is claimed to last up to 32 days in standby. Although iTel did not detail fast charging support, recharging it uses USB-C.
The body of this phone is claimed to be tough because it has MIL-STD810H certification. This shows that the ITEL A100C has passed the test falling 1.22 meters, extreme temperatures to the test falls dozens of times.
Other features include a fingerprint scanner that blends with the power button, infrared to control other devices, as well as DTS speakers. This phone is also equipped with an ultralink free call which is claimed to allow users to make calls, send text and voice messages via Bluetooth.
This smartphone runs with the Android 15 Go Edition operating system, which is an OS intended for entry-level cellphones with low RAM. The interface supports iTel OS 15.
Unfortunately, the mobile phone vendor under the auspices of the Transsion has not revealed the price or availability of the Itel A100C. However, referring to the specifications and the OS it uses, this phone is likely to be priced at an affordable price. We’ll just have to wait.
