Government Sets Electricity Tariffs Not to Increase in Quarter IV 2025

Based on the policies set by the government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), electricity tariffs for subsidized and non-subsidized PLN customers in the fourth quarter (October-December 2025) will not increase. This means that starting November 1, 2025, the electricity tariff will still follow the provisions previously announced.

The Director General of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Tri Winarno, in his statement said that this policy was carried out as an effort to maintain people’s purchasing power. He explained that although the realization of the macro economy shows the potential for an increase in electricity tariffs, the government decided to maintain it so as not to burden the community.

List of Electricity Tariffs Valid from November 1, 2025

The following is a list of electricity tariffs that apply to subsidized and non-subsidized customers starting November 1, 2025:

Household 450 VA: IDR 415 per kWh
Subsidized 900 VA Household: Rp605 per kWh

Electricity tariff per kWh for non-subsidized household customers

Small Household (R-1/TR) Power 900 VA: Rp1,352 per kWh
Small Household (R-1/TR) Power 1,300 VA: Rp1,444.70 per kWh
Small Household (R-1/TR) Power 2,200 VA: Rp1,444.70 per kWh
Medium Household (R-2/TR) Power 3,500-5,500 VA: Rp1,699.53 per kWh
Large Household (R-3/TR) Power 6,600 VA and above: Rp1,699.53 per kWh
