Expansion of Acer’s Portfolio in Indonesia with Innovative Products
Taiwanese technology company, Acer, is now expanding its product portfolio in Indonesia. Not only limited to laptops and PCs, Acer now presents a variety of devices designed to support a modern digital lifestyle. Some of the products introduced include smart rings for health monitoring, recycled suitcases, to high-performance AI laptops that are suitable for use by professionals and gamers.

One of the wearable devices introduced is the Acer Freesense Ring. A smart ring designed to monitor the condition of the body without a large shape like a smartwatch. This device is equipped with biometric sensors that are able to read heart rate, oxygen levels in the blood, stress levels, and the quality of sleep users in real time. The data is processed using an AI-based algorithm and displayed through a companion application available on iOS and Android.
All features can be used without an additional subscription system, so users can access full health history data. FreeSense Ring also supports up to 24 modes of sports activity, making it relevant for active users. In terms of durability, this device already has IP68 certification, which means it is dust resistant and able to survive in water under certain conditions. The design is made minimalistic and designed to be comfortable to use for a long time, including for users with sensitive skin.
Recycled suitcase for sustainability
In addition to wearables, Acer also released a suitcase line through the fashion business unit. Different from conventional suitcases, this product uses a hardshell material made from 100 percent recycled polyester (RPET), which is a plastic recycled material. The material not only highlights the sustainability aspect, but is also designed to have high durability. The surface of the suitcase is made textured to help disguise scratches due to use.
Several models such as Barcelona and Melbourne Plus have gone through the standard testing of the CNS 15331 in Taiwan. The test includes simulations of vibration, falling impact, rotation, and grip strength to ensure the suitcase remains sturdy in intensive travel conditions. Suitcases are available in various sizes, ranging from cabin sizes up to 28 inches, with an expandable feature to increase storage capacity. Some models are equipped with separate compartments for wet and dry clothes, as well as special airtag bags to help track locations. The multi-direction wheel system is also designed to remain stable and light when pushed.

In the computing line, Acer introduced the latest generation of Intel Core Ultra processors that support AI on Device acceleration. This approach allows the processing of artificial intelligence to be carried out directly on the device without always being dependent on the cloud, making it more efficient and responsive.
The Swift Go 14 AI model comes with a thin design weighing around 1.12 kilograms, combined with processors up to the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and Intel Arc B390 graphics. The screen uses a 3K resolution OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, which provides sharp and smooth visuals. This device also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4 and meets the MIL-STD 810H military endurance standards.
Meanwhile, the Swift Edge 14 AI offers an even lighter design with a weight of under one kilogram and a thickness of less than 14 millimeters. Although very thin, this device is still equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra series processor and 3K 120Hz OLED screen.
Gaming Laptop with Good Performance
For the gaming segment, Acer presents the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI. This laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor and a graphics card up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. The screen uses an OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate that supports G-Sync, making it suitable for competitive games. The cooling system relies on aeroblade 3D fans and liquid metal thermal to keep the temperature stable when high performance is used for a long time.
ACER Expansion Strategy
By presenting a smart ring, recycled suitcases, to high-performance AI laptops, Acer shows a wider expansion strategy than just a laptop manufacturer.
