Re-accessing a fund account on a new device can be a challenge if the registered phone number is no longer active. This is because the application security system usually sends OTP code via SMS or WhatsApp. However, there are several alternative ways that can be used to login without having to receive an OTP code.

Steps to Login Without OTP

Here are some steps that can be taken to log into the fund account without the need for an OTP code, especially when the phone number is no longer active:

1. Delete DANA application data

The first step that needs to be done is to delete the DANA application data so that the system can restart the login process.

Open the menu Arrangement on the device.
Elect Application or application management.
Search and select apps Fund.
Go to the Storage.
Pressure Clear memory, then Delete data.

By doing this step, the application will return to the way it was first installed.

2. Update the DANA application

Make sure the DANA application is in the latest version.

Open Google Play Store.
Type Fund in the search field.
If there is an option Update (update), immediately update the application.

The latest version usually provides a more flexible account recovery feature and supports login without OTP via face verification.

3. Login using Face Verification

Once the app is updated and reopened:

Select Menu Start.
Enter the phone number previously registered in the DANA account.
If the number is inactive and does not allow receiving OTP, the system will offer an option face verification.
Point your face at the camera according to the instructions on the screen.
Wait until the verification process is complete.
If the process is successful, the user will be directly directed to the DANA account.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The face verification method is generally only available for fund accounts that have been Upgraded to premium account. If the account is not premium, it is likely that this feature cannot be used yet. However, users are still advised to try this method because the fund system is constantly updated and may support recovery for regular accounts in the future.

The problem of logging in funds due to inactive numbers is indeed difficult, but the face verification feature can be an effective solution, especially for premium account users.
