Latest Razer Gaming Laptops: Blade 16 and Blade 18
Razer has announced the latest version of their gaming laptop, namely Blade 16 and Blade 18. Both Razer gaming laptops are equipped with the latest display and will be presented to the general public at CES 2024, which will take place in Las Vegas next week.
The advantages of the latest display
According to the developer, the Blade 16 notebook is equipped with the world’s first OLED panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate, developed with Samsung. Meanwhile, the larger 18 Blade has a 4K panel with a frequency of 165 Hz and G-Sync support. Both of these panels were tested and individually calibrated at the Calman plant and offered 100% DCI-P3 space color coverage.
Blade Specifications 16
Blade 16 uses an OLED panel with support for a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It has VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and VESA ClearMR 11000 rating (Motion Blur Rating). Currently, Blade 16 is available with two display options: a dual-mode mini-LED display that can run at 1920 x 1200 pixels at 240 Hz or 4K resolution at 120 Hz, or one 2560 x screen 1600 pixels at 240 Hz.
Blade Specifications 18
Blade 18, which is already available in the market, is equipped with a 2560 × 1600 pixel resolution screen, 240 Hz frequency, and G-Sync support. The latest version offers a higher 4K resolution, but the frequency drops to 165 Hz. The 3ms response time combined with G-Sync should ensure smooth play even in 4K resolution.

Unfortunately, manufacturers have not disclosed all the technical characteristics of Blade 16 and Blade 18, and their prices have not been disclosed either. This information is expected to be clear next week at CES 2024.
