JAKARTA – Samsung Electronics officially launched the latest Galaxy Z8 Series for the Indonesian market on Friday (14/8). This phone comes in three variants, namely the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8.
Since its launch, the Galaxy Z8 Series has received a positive response from consumers in various countries. The pre-order volume of this latest lineup increased by more than 30% compared to the previous generation.
Yadi Prayitno, Head of Mobile Experience (MX) Business, Samsung Electronics Indonesia, revealed that this achievement was beyond expectations in the midst of the current market dynamics. “Two weeks since the pre-order opened, orders for the Galaxy Z8 series have increased by 50% compared to the previous series. This also marks the highest pre-order number as long as the Foldable line is present in Indonesia,” he said in a press release, Saturday (15/8).
According to Yadi, the fresh, unique, and compact Galaxy Z Fold8 design is the main attraction for 89% of consumers, making more consumers drop their choice in this series.
The latest Galaxy Z series comes with a line of foldable devices that are increasingly sophisticated and immediately attract attention since it was introduced. This latest line has also received a positive response from young consumers in the Southeast Asian region. Teenagers in their 30s account for nearly 60% of the Galaxy Z8 series subscribers.
