Microsoft Launches New Features of Copilot AI, As Sophisticated as ChatGPT

tonguetekno — Microsoft has added a new feature to Copilot, which is their Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based conversation bot which was released celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary. Launching from TechCrunch, Saturday (04/05/205), Copilot can now take various actions on the web page, which makes it easier for users to book tickets, restaurant reservations, to direct shopping transactions through several platforms.

In addition, Copilot can now store the preferences of its users, including their favorite food and movies, similar to the features in the chatgpt made by OpenAI.

This latest change includes a superior feature where the Copilot can analyze the video in direct mode recorded on the user’s phone and then offers a solution according to what the camera captures.

These latest features are significant advances for the Copilot, which was originally armed with an artificial intelligence model from OpenAI, but has now been pinned with various internal Microsoft technologies.

With the launch of this new feature, Microsoft collaborated with several well-known companies such as 1-800-flowers.com, Booking.com, Expedia, Kayak, OpenTable, Priceline, TripAdvisor, Skyscanner, Viator, and VRBO Ensures conformity from the start.

Now, users can issue instructions such as send me a bouquet of flowers to my wife and the Copilot will try to fulfill that request.

In addition, Copilot is able to monitor online purchasing activities for its users, send notifications if there are discounts or promotions on the goods of interest, and provide direct links to the product shopping page.

Although Microsoft does not provide specific information about how the feature works, it reflects their efforts to present a more personal and effective experience for its users.

For Android and iOS-based devices, Copilot is currently able to observe whatever is displayed by a smartphone camera or user’s image album and provides relevant data about objects or scenes there.

At the same time, in Windows, this latest Copilot application can evaluate the appearance of the desktop to support users in searching for information, changing settings, and sorting files.

Despite having these advanced features, Microsoft still provides complete control to its users in determining what the Copilot will keep related to them.

Customers have the option to eliminate sensitive information or disable the function as a whole, providing peace of mind for those who are worried about the confidentiality of their data.
