Explanation of Why Aliens Haven’t Visited Earth

The latest release by the United States government concerns hundreds of cases unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP) previously kept secret, covering the period from the 1940s to the present, has fueled the belief that extraterrestrials are visiting Earth. In fact, surveys in various countries show that around a third of people believe in the existence of extraterrestrials. However, although knowledge of the universe indicates the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial beings, until now there has been no report of evidence of their presence that is clearly visible on Earth.

The latest report from The University of New South Wales (UNSW) states that there may be three reasons why aliens have not visited Earth. Here is the explanation:

1. Wide Space

Proxima Centauri, the closest star to our Sun, is about 40 trillion kilometers away, 268,000 times farther than the Sun is from Earth. According to astronomers’ measurements, that distance is equivalent to 4.3 light years. One light year is the distance that light travels in one year at a speed of 300,000 km per second.

With current technology, we can only travel through space at speeds that are only a fraction of the speed of light. Even the fastest space probe, the Parker Solar Probe, travels at a maximum speed of around 191 kilometers per second—0.064 percent of the speed of light. At that speed, it would take about 6,650 years to reach Proxima Centauri, and that’s just in the neighborhood of our nearest star. So, interstellar travel within a human lifetime would require much higher speeds.

It is assumed that we do have the means to travel at speeds approaching the speed of light. That creates the first problem in traveling at that speed. Albert Einstein proved that time is relative; The flow rate of time is not the same in every corner of the universe. The faster a spaceship accelerates away from Earth, the slower time will pass for its passengers. This phenomenon is called time dilation.

For any extraterrestrials crossing our skies, the difference would be much greater because travel to Earth and back from distant star systems requires naturally greater speeds. They will return to a planet that is much older than the one they left behind—perhaps a century or more away.

2. High Energy Requirements



There is an unimaginably high energy requirement for interstellar travel. The mass of a spacecraft increases with its speed, so more and more energy is needed to accelerate it. At the speed of light, the spacecraft has infinite mass, so it requires infinite energy. This is clearly impossible.

Another important issue is that space is a vacuum—but not completely. There are quite a few particles to be wary of. These particles have the potential to cause deadly radiation to passengers and instruments on high-speed spacecraft, or even destroy them. Sparsely scattered hydrogen atoms would turn into intense radiation at speeds approaching the speed of light, and the resulting heat would erode and eventually destroy the aircraft’s hull.

Traveling faster than the speed of light, according to physicist Miguel Alcubierre, is possible, but this comes with its own set of problems and energy requirements that are currently impossible to meet. That begs the question: why expend so much energy to travel to Earth? Whatever we have, an advanced civilization (aliens would have to have that level of advancement to get here) would certainly be able to create it on their own planet.

3. Unique Biosphere

Another problem is our biosphere, as far as scientists know it only exists on Earth. Life and the planet evolved together. Complex life would not have existed on Earth if cyanobacteria, a type of single-celled microbe, had not pumped oxygen into our mostly nitrogen atmosphere 2.4 billion years ago. Therefore, oxygen is not toxic to those of us on Earth, but it is reactive and could be highly corrosive to extraterrestrials.

Although they could wear protective suits as humans do when going into hostile environments, reports of extraterrestrial visitations do not include any descriptions of space suits. Life and the planet evolved together. Still Unanswered Questions

So, are there extraterrestrials out there? If extraterrestrials aren’t here, are they out there? This is an interesting question, both scientifically and philosophically. Scientists don’t have enough information yet, but they are researching this question.

About 6,200 exoplanets have been discovered in more than 4,700 star systems, although none are similar to Earth or the Solar System. Most stars probably have at least one planet, and there are more than 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone. Therefore, the number of planets is very large and some of them may be habitable.
