Omoway Omo X is officially present in Indonesia, here are the specifications

Omo X, the latest electric motorcycle from Omoway, was officially launched for the Indonesian market on Monday (15/6/2026). This electric scooter comes with a number of improvements compared to the previous version introduced in the country last year. Omo X is the first Omoway product which is officially marketed to consumers.

General Manager of Indonesian Market Omoway, Yulong Chen, explained that Omo X was developed based on research conducted by the company for two years in Indonesia. He stated that there are several differences from the previous version, ranging from the design of the front and rear areas such as fenders, logos and emblems to the quality of the plastic. “This is not just a new product, but a new category,” he said at the launch.

According to Chen, Omoway carried out various tests before this motorbike was marketed, ranging from water resistance to driving safety aspects. This is done to ensure the product is in accordance with the needs of users in Indonesia. “This smart motor focuses on humans. Makes consumers easier, more comfortable and connected,” Chen said.

By design, Omo X looks futuristic with a long and slender body. Omoway’s product expert, Andry Firmanto, explained that this motorbike has an air resistance coefficient of 0.498 which is claimed to help efficiency and increase mileage. “Omo X is also equipped with a 10.25-inch interactive TFT screen, a digital key without a physical key, an automatic side stand, integrated navigation, audio surround, to smartphone connectivity features,” he explained.

The security features offered are also quite complete, such as real-time vehicle tracking, Find My Bike, anti-theft notifications, alarms when the motorbike is moved without permission, Dual-Channel ABS, and Traction Control System (TCS).

For the Indonesian market, Omoway offers Omo X Smart at a price of IDR 46.9 million OTR Jakarta and Omo X Smart Long Range for IDR 51.9 million OTR Jakarta.

Consumers who place orders through the Omoway application before July 31, 2026 will get a discount of Rp. 5 million, a registration subsidy of Rp. 2 million, free maintenance for three years, a seven-year battery warranty, and a warranty on a motorbike and a smart in-vehicle audio system for six years.
