Bayung Lencir-Tempino Sexy Toll Road Project 3 Sets New Record
The toll road project in Jambi Province, namely the Bayung Lencir-Tempino Toll Road Section 3, has created a new history in the toll road infrastructure development sector in Indonesia. This project was carried out by a joint operation (KSO) between PT Hutama Karya (Persero), PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, and PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero). This extraordinary achievement has earned the project an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) as “the freeway project with the highest level of time efficiency”.
This award was handed over directly by the Deputy President Director of MURI, Osmar Semesta Susilo, to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of the Hutama Karya General Civil Division, Rizky Agung Saputra, at the MURI Auditorium, Jakarta, on Friday (1/8/2025). The toll road project, which has been operating since October 17, 2024, has successfully completed its construction in just 473 calendar days, faster than the contract target set at 600 days.
Awesome time efficiency
According to EVP, Corporate Secretary of Hutama Karya, Adjib Al Hakim, the time efficiency of this project has reached 21.7 percent, making it the highest in the history of toll road construction in Indonesia. In addition, this project not only finishes faster, but also maintains high standards of quality and work safety.

The success of this project cannot be separated from the application of sophisticated and innovative digital construction technology. Hutama Karya uses a variety of modern tools and systems to improve the efficiency and accuracy of work. Some of the technologies used include:
