TPHP Central Kalimantan Monitors Simultaneous Planting, Farmers Developed the Latest Technology

The Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock (TPHP) of Central Kalimantan Province continues to promote the use of technology to improve the efficiency of land use and agricultural crops. One of the efforts made is through activities plant together at the same time which involves 14 provinces, led by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto online.

The Head of the Central Kalimantan TPHP Service, Sunarti, participated in the activity with the Governor of Central Kalimantan, Agustiar Sabran. This event took place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, and was held in East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. On this occasion, Governor Agustiar Sabran directly led the planting activities in Lempuyang Village, Teluk Sampit District, using a machine Rice Transplanter.
Improving the modernization of the agricultural sector
In the event, Governor Agustiar Sabran said that this activity was one of the steps taken by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to support the modernization of the agricultural sector. This is expected to increase the efficiency and yield of rice production in the Central Kalimantan region.
“The use of this tool shows the implementation of agricultural mechanization that is environmentally friendly and can save labor. The agricultural sector has now transformed towards technology and creativity. This is not only about planting and harvesting, but also providing opportunities for anyone to achieve financial success and independence,” said Agustiar Sabran.

On the other hand, the Head of the Central Kalimantan TPHP Office, Sunarti, emphasized that this activity aims to provide practical knowledge to farmers about the functions and benefits of using Rice Transplanter. This technology allows farmers to save time and increase their production results.
“Through this device, farmers can be more efficient in their work, while increasing agricultural yields. The use of agricultural tools and machines is increasingly widespread in various regions, and we hope that farmers will be more familiar with this technology in the future planting period,” said Sunarti.
