Vivo has once again strengthened its G-series smartphone line by launching the latest model, namely the Vivo G3 5G. This cellphone is the successor to the Vivo G2 5G which was previously released in China in January 2024. With various significant improvements, the Vivo G3 5G offers a better user experience, both in terms of performance and battery life.
Price and Availability
In the Chinese market, the Vivo G3 5G is priced starting from CNY 1,499 (around IDR 3.3 million) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Meanwhile, the higher variant with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is sold for CNY 1,999 (around IDR 4.5 million). This phone is only available in the Diamond Black color option. Until now, Vivo has not provided official information regarding the global availability of this device.

In terms of battery life, this device is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery which is claimed to last up to five years. Apart from that, this cellphone is also supported by 44W fast charging so users can charge it quickly.
On the screen, the Vivo G3 5G has a 6.74 inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution (720 x 1600 pixels), 90Hz refresh rate, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and 20:9 aspect ratio. This screen offers a comfortable and clear visual experience.

The Vivo G3 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with Mali-G57 GPU. For RAM requirements, a 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X variant is available, while storage includes 128GB/256GB. The base 128GB model still uses eMMC 5.1, while the 256GB variant uses UFS 2.2 which is faster and more efficient.

In terms of photography, the Vivo G3 5G relies on a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfie needs. This device runs the Android 15 operating system with the OriginOS 15 interface which is responsive and easy to use.
