The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a 60W fast charging feature, which is an upgrade from the previous version which has a speed of 45W. With this technology, a 5,000 mAh battery can be fully charged in 45 minutes. In fact, reaching 80 percent in 30 minutes, making this device suitable for users who travel a lot.
According to information from the Tipter Ice Universe on Weibo on August 4, 2025, under ideal conditions, charging can reach 90 percent in 30 minutes. However, performance remains influenced by ambient temperature. Although this 15W increase is not too significant compared to the Galaxy S25 Ultra, for the Indonesian market who wants speed, this feature remains the main attraction.
Flagship performance with new chipset
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset in the United States, Canada, and China. Meanwhile, the global market, including Indonesia, will get the Exynos 2600 version based on 2nm fabrication. This chipset is claimed to be more efficient and strong for multitasking and heavy gaming.
This device also features a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with QHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz and a thinner bezel. RAM is available up to 16GB with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options, making it an ideal choice for productivity and entertainment.
200MP camera for night photography
The camera sector is one of the advantages of the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a larger 200MP main sensor. Samsung claims that the quality of night photos will be much better, with sharp details even in low light conditions. Samsung is predicted to design the Galaxy S26 Ultra with a slimmer design and a thin frame for a premium look. The phone will run Android 16 with the OneUI 8.5 interface, providing a smoother user experience and better integration of the Galaxy ecosystem.

Although the battery capacity is still 5,000 mAh, Samsung hopes that the efficiency of the chipset and 60W fast charging is able to offset the shortage in terms of durability.
In Indonesia, Samsung is expected to offer trade-in promos and 0 percent installments such as the strategy in the Z Fold7 and Flip7 series. The official launch is likely to take place in January 2026 at the Galaxy Unpacked event.
