Vivo X300 Ultra launched, 200MP camera, how much does it cost?

Introduction to Vivo X300 Ultra

Vivo X300 Ultra was finally launched globally at the end of March 2026, claiming to be the first cellphone in the world to have a dual camera with 200MP resolution. This phone is a continuation of the previous series and does not deviate from the core specifications of its predecessor.

The company combines a 200MP main camera with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The device also offers a large 1/1.28 inch ultrawide 14mm sensor, and it seems that the Vivo X300 Ultra will use this technology again for 2026.

Camera Specifications

The 85mm zoom may sound the same, but it now uses Samsung’s latest ISOCELL HP0 sensor, which offers twice as fast autofocus (Vivo claims 60 AF updates per second). Power consumption is also lower, while introducing Gimbal-Grade 3° OIS, which Vivo says achieves a CIPA stabilization rating of 7.0. However, in the lens department, the new 85mm zoom has an f/2.67 aperture, which is dimmer than the f/2.27 on its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the main camera still uses the classic 35mm focal length for reportage photography, but sits in front of a larger 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA 901 200MP sensor, almost 1 inch in size and four times the resolution.

Lens Technology and Stabilization

The lens uses the latest industry-leading 1G+6P coating technology, which the manufacturer says reduces reflectivity by up to 20 percent. This lens also has a CIPA rating of 6.5 for professional stabilization. With ZEISS enhancements and optics, the idea is to maintain consistency between standard photos and zoomed images, rather than treating them as separate use cases.

New Video Features

The manufacturer also introduced several video-focused features, one of which is OIS at full focal length, 3D LUT (look up table) import support, and multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video support. Vivo did not forget to develop a new photography application, which features a library of 3D LUTs for various color styles. Additionally, the phone supports the company’s in-house developed Multi-Focal 4K Master Color Video.

Design and Screen

In terms of body, the Vivo X300 Ultra is very similar to its predecessor. On the front is a 6.82-inch 3168 x 1440 pixel AMOLED Ultra

Performance Specifications

For the heart rate, there is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with a choice of 12GB or 16GB RAM. Meanwhile, the battery has a capacity of 7,000 mAh, with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Prices and Markets

The Vivo The Vivo X300 Ultra will compete with the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, which is also confirmed to have two 200MP cameras.
