The biggest automotive exhibition in Indonesia is held again

The biggest and most anticipated automotive exhibition in Indonesia, the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), will be back this year. For fans of the automotive world, the presence of GIIAS is not just a showcase for vehicle technology, but also an important moment to see firsthand the latest innovations and trends from various world-renowned brands.

GIIAS 2025 is the 32nd event since it was first held in 1986. This year, more than 60 brands are ready to show off with a row of mainstay products that carry future technology. The exhibition will take place at ICE BSD, which is the main location for GIIAS for the past few years.

Location and schedule

GIIAS 2025 will take place from July 24 to August 3, 2025 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang Regency. Located in the 11 main halls of ICE BSD, visitors will be treated to an international exhibition with a display of cars, motorcycles, and automotive innovations from various parts of the world.

The first day of the exhibition, which falls on Thursday, July 24, 2025, will be opened in VIP Day format, where visitors can start entering at 14.00 WIB. Besides being able to be the first to witness the launch of a new vehicle, visitors also have the opportunity to try out the newest cars in the test drive area which will be open until 20.00 WIB.

For those who want to enjoy the exclusive atmosphere on the opening day, VIP Day tickets can be purchased online via Auto360 for IDR 250,000, or purchased directly at the location for IDR 300,000. Meanwhile, the price of weekdays tickets is Rp. 50,000 and weekend tickets worth Rp. 100,000.

Participation of more than 60 brands

This year, GIIAS made a new history with the participation of more than 60 global automotive brands. A total of 39 brands of passenger vehicles that are ready to show off include Aletra, Audi, BAIC, BMW, BYD, Chery, Chery Lepas, Citroen, Daihatsu, Denza, DFSK, Ford, Gac Aion, Geely, GWM, Honda, and Hyundai. There are also Jaecoo, Jeep, Jetour, Kia, Lexus, Maxus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Polytron, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinfast, Volkswagen, Volvo, Wuling, and X-Peng.

Meanwhile, from commercial vehicle brands, there were 4 brands that joined the GIIAS 2025, namely Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, and UD Trucks. 16 motorcycle brands will also be present at GIIAS 2025, including Alva, Aprilia, Astra Honda Motor, Dubbs, Exotic, Harley Davidson, Kupprum, Moto Guzzi, Pacific, Piaggio, Polytron, Royal Enfield, Skodi, U-Winfly, Vespa, and Wedison.

In addition, four car body brands were also present at GIIAS 2025, namely Adiputro, Laksana, New Armada, and Tentrem. As well as hundreds of brands from other automotive supporting industries that are ready to display the latest innovations and technology.

series of exhibitions in five big cities

Not only stopping at Tangerang, GIIAS 2025 will also continue its exhibition series to five other big cities in the GIIAS The Series 2025 format. The following is the full schedule and location:

  • Surabaya: August 27–31 at Grand City Convex
  • Semarang: September 24–28 at Muladi Dome
  • Bandung: October 1–5 at the Sudirman Grand Ballroom
  • Makassar: November 5–9 at Summarecon Mutiara Makassar

The event in Makassar also marked the return of GIIAS to this city since it was last held in 2019. With the series of exhibitions in various cities, GIIAS is increasingly expanding its reach and providing opportunities for people in various regions to experience the experience of the largest automotive exhibition in Indonesia.
