Armawati Cen, AMD Consumer Business Development Manager in Indonesia, expressed her views on this market trend. In his statement, he emphasized, “Of course, we believe that this technology will be a catalyst to encourage the growth of the PC industry.” This was conveyed on the occasion of the release of AMD’s new product on Thursday (24/4).

AMD’s current strategy focuses on the use of AI technology to provide substantial benefits to consumers. This includes improving work efficiency and improving user interaction with digital devices, making them more unique and protected.

Launch of the latest processors to support the AI ecosystem
As part of this strategy, AMD introduced two new processor lines designed to support the AI ecosystem in the PC market. The AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series processor is equipped with Neural Processor Unit (NPU) integration, while the AMD Ryzen™ AI Max Series is designed to meet the demand for high-level performance in high-end laptops that also support AI capabilities.
AMD Product Availability in Indonesia
The availability of these products in the Indonesian market is the main concern of AMD. Laptops powered by AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 series processors are now available through various OEM partners such as ASUS, ACER, Lenovo, and MSI. Meanwhile, HP is planned to follow soon. For the Ryzen™ AI Max processor series, this product is currently only available on ASUS. This step reflects AMD’s strong commitment to providing revolutionary and affordable AI PC technology for users in Indonesia.
