Discount Add 50 Percent Power from PLN for the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia
PT PLN (Persero) provides a special opportunity for its loyal customers by offering a 50 percent discount on power added in commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. This program runs from 10 to 23 August 2025, providing great benefits for people who want to increase their electricity usage capacity.
“This program is a form of PLN’s appreciation to loyal customers and also support for the community in meeting electricity needs at a more affordable cost,” said PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo in a statement.
With this program, customers can save significant costs when adding power. For example, customers with an initial power of 450 VA who want to increase to 7,700 VA only need to pay Rp 3,512,625, compared to the normal price which reaches Rp 7,025,250. This is certainly a breath of fresh air for people who want to have a more stable and strong electricity supply.
This promo is valid for all low-voltage customers in all single-phase tariff groups. The condition is that customers must have registered as PLN users before August 1, 2024. They can increase the power up to a maximum of 7,700 VA, with an initial power ranging from 450 VA to 5,500 VA.
To apply for additional power, customers can do it easily through the PLN Mobile application. For prepaid customers, it is enough to buy electricity tokens, while postpaid customers can directly pay the bill in accordance with applicable regulations.
After the transaction is successful, the customer will receive a discount e-voucher for added power via the Reward feature at PLN Mobile or via the registered email. The e-voucher can be used to apply for additional power by entering the e-voucher code at PLN Mobile. After the payment is verified, the local PLN unit will immediately process the application according to the applicable rules.
Darmawan Prasodjo ensures that one PLN Mobile account can receive a maximum of four e-vouchers during the promo period. The goal is that more customers can get an equal opportunity to take advantage of this program.
The application process for adding power is very simple and fast, because everything can be done through the PLN Mobile application. Darmawan hopes that the community can make the best use of this opportunity before the program ends on August 23, 2025. That way, customers will not only get better services, but also more efficient costs.
