Introduction to Honor Play 10C, entry-level phone with large battery and 120 Hz screen
Honor, one of the smartphone vendors from China, has just launched its newest entry-level phone called Honor Play 10C. This phone is designed to offer an adequate usage experience for users who are looking for a device at an affordable price.
One of the main features of the Honor Play 10C is a large battery with a capacity of 6,000 mAh. With this battery, users can use the phone for a long time without having to charge frequently. The charging process can be done via a USB Type-C port with a speed of 15 watts, so charging is faster than conventional methods.
In terms of design, the Honor Play 10C has a thickness of only 8.39 mm and a weight of 197 grams. The slim and light shape makes this phone comfortable to hold and carry everywhere.
Prominent screen with high refresh rate
On the screen, the Honor Play 10C is equipped with a 6.61-inch LCD panel. This screen has a fairly good resolution and a brightness level of up to 1,010 nits, so it remains clearly visible even in direct sunlight.
What’s interesting is the refresh rate of 120 Hz on this entry-level smartphone. This is very rarely found in cheap phones because most only provide a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. With a refresh rate of 120 Hz, users will experience a smoother visual experience, especially when scrolling, switching between applications, or playing games.
This screen is also equipped with a punch hole design as the home of a 5 MP selfie camera. This design does not interfere with the overall screen display.

On the back, the Honor Play 10C is equipped with a 13 MP main camera. This camera is placed inside a silly large enough, and is equipped with an additional lens that functions as an LED light. Although the specifications are simple, this camera is quite capable for basic needs such as photos and videos.
For hardware performance, the Honor Play 10C is supported by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. This phone also offers up to 8 GB of RAM and internal storage up to 256 GB, making it suitable for users who need a large storage space.
The operating system used is Android 15 with a MagicOS 9 interface. This phone is also equipped with various supporting features such as 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G support. In addition, this phone has IP64 certification which provides protection against dust and splashing water.

In the Chinese market, the Honor Play 10C is available in several variants at different prices. Here is the list of prices offered:
- Honor Play 10C 4/128GB: 649 Yuan (approximately IDR 1.4 million)
- Honor Play 10C 6/128GB: 699 Yuan (approximately IDR 1.5 million)
- Honor Play 10C 8/256GB: 899 Yuan (approximately IDR 2 million)
This phone comes in three color options, namely mint, black, and white. However, until now there has been no official information regarding its availability outside the Chinese market, including in Indonesia.
Based on the latest observations, the Honor Play 10C has not been registered on the Domestic Component Level Certification page (TKDN) of the Ministry of Industry and Postel of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkominfo). This shows that this phone has not received official certification to be marketed in Indonesia.
