Crypto user data is leaked on the Dark Web, including from Ledger, Gemini, and Robinhood

The crypto world is again rocked by the issue of data leakage. The personal information of users from several major platforms such as Ledger, Gemini, and Robinhood is reported to have been widespread on the Dark Web. Leaked data include full name, residence, contact number, email address, to other sensitive details.

This news was first revealed by the account Dark Web Informer Through platform X on Sunday, April 13, 2025. In the upload, a screenshot of the perpetrator who claimed to sell user data from various well-known crypto platforms was included.

According to information from the upload, most of the victims came from the United States, which is indeed the country with the largest number of users in Gemini and Robinhood.

There has been no official response from the related company

Until this report was published, there has been no official statement from Ledger, Gemini, or Robinhood regarding the alleged data leakage. However, this is not the first thing for them.

In 2021, Robinhood had experienced a cyber attack that caused more than 5 million email addresses to leak and about 2 million usernames. The incident occurred after an employee in the customer service became a victim of the attack Social Engineering.
