PT Solusi Sinergi Digital (Surge) has announced the stages and processes for activating the People’s Internet Service. People can still register and register for this service. The distribution of the modem needed to access the people’s internet services will be carried out in stages starting January 2026.
Recently, the public was excited by the offer related to fast internet access and relatively cheap prices, namely the people’s internet. This service is WiFi based on 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology developed by PT Solusi Sinergi Digital (Surge). The goal is to provide fast and affordable internet for the community.
Users will be able to enjoy people’s internet services with speeds of up to 100 Mbps (megabits per second) with unlimited or unlimited quotas. At the trial stage, users are not charged any fees or free. This trial will last for one month.
The People’s Internet will be launched in stages, where the islands of Java, Maluku, and Papua will be the first regions to experience this service.
Stages of Development and Activation of the People’s Internet
The following are the stages of development to activation from the people’s internet:
Stage 1: Pre Register
At this stage the service provider will open registration for people who want to get fast and cheap internet access. This stage has started to open in November and is still ongoing today.Stage 2: Network and FWA installation
The service provider will install the Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network, especially in Java, Maluku, and Papua. This stage will be carried out from December 2025 to June 2026.Stage 3: Commercial and Distribution Modem
After a thorough installation, the service provider will distribute the device in the form of CPE/modem to customers who have previously registered. This stage will be carried out from January to June 2026.

How to Register People’s Internet Service
To be able to enjoy the people’s internet services, users must register on the people’s internet website. Later the user must fill in personal data to the address for the distribution of CPE or modem. After registration is complete, users have to wait in line to be able to get people’s internet access.
Subscription fee
At the trial stage, users will not be charged or free. The trial stage will be carried out for one month. After that, people’s internet users are required to pay a subscription fee of IDR 100,000 per month. With these costs, users will still get modem loan facilities to internet access with speeds of up to 100 Mbps and unlimited quota.
