Order processing fee policy implemented by Tokopedia and TikTok Shop
Tokopedia and TikTok Shop will start implementing the Order Processing Fee Policy on Monday, August 11, 2025. This policy applies to all successful orders sent to the buyer. However, if the order is returned the goods or the refund, the processing fee will not be returned to the seller.
Order processing fees are fees charged to all sellers in Indonesia to process orders on the platform. The purpose of implementing this policy is to strategically expand the shipping program and improve more comprehensive logistics services. The expansion of this postage program is expected to provide benefits to sellers by increasing visibility and sales through more attractive options to wider customers. This is the basis for sustainable growth and strengthens the value given to consumers and sellers.
The order processing fee set by Tokopedia and TikTok Shop is IDR 1,250 per order that has been successfully sent. This nominal includes tax, regardless of the number of products in each order. Processing fees will be deducted directly from order completion.
In addition, Tokopedia and TikTok Shop also provide exceptions to new traders who receive the first 50 orders. The exemption of the fee will be given in the form of a refund at the end of each month, unless there is another mechanism that will be submitted to the merchant.
Tokopedia and TikTok Shop also explained the refund scheme for order processing fees for orders that have not been successfully sent. If all orders are returned, the order processing fee will also be returned entirely to the merchant. However, if part of the order is returned, the order processing fee will not be returned to the seller.
