Vivo V70 Elite officially released: the highest variant of the V-Series with flagship specifications

Vivo’s V-Series line is back with an Elite variant that brings strategic changes

Vivo has once again demonstrated its strength in the mobile phone industry by launching the newest variant of the V-series line, namely the Vivo V70 Elite. As the highest model in its class, this device is proof that Vivo is starting to change their naming strategy, which previously used the term “Pro” for premium models.

Attractive Design and Screen

The front screen of the Vivo V70 Elite is dominated by a 6.59 inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. The main advantages are the 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a very high peak brightness level, reaching 5,000 nits. These numbers ensure the screen remains clear and legible even under direct sunlight.

To increase user security, Vivo has embedded ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology integrated under the screen. This technology provides safer protection than ordinary fingerprint sensors.

Impressive Performance and High Quality Camera

The Vivo V70 Elite’s engine is no joke. This device relies on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset combined with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 internal storage. With these specifications, users can run various heavy applications without experiencing a decrease in performance.

In the photography sector, Vivo has equipped the V70 Elite with a triple rear camera configuration:

• Main Camera: Sony LYT-700V sensor with 50MP resolution with a size of 1/1.56 inches equipped with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
• Telephoto Camera: IMX882 sensor with 50MP resolution with 3x optical zoom capability and OIS.
• Ultrawide Camera: 8MP sensor for wide viewing angles.

This camera combination allows users to take high quality photos, both in low light conditions and when zooming.

Robust Software Resilience and Support

The 6,500 mAh battery on the Vivo V70 Elite is supported by Silicon-Carbon (Si-C) technology which makes it more durable. 90W fast charging is also available, allowing users to charge quickly.

This device also has IP68 and IP69 certification, so it is highly resistant to dust and high pressure water. In terms of software, the V70 Elite runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. Vivo is committed to providing long-term support in the form of 4 OS updates and 6 years of security patches.

Prices and Pre-Order

Vivo V70 Elite comes in Black, Red and Sand Beige color options. Prices start from INR 51,999 (around Rp. 9.6 million) for the 8GB/256GB variant to INR 61,999 (around Rp. 10.7 million) for the highest variant. Initial sales will start on February 26.
