Electric Motor Manufacturer Alva Cikarang Examined Arsjad Rasjid, Highlights on the Latest Model Introduction
The Chief Executive of PT Indika Energy Tbk, Arsjad Rasjid, conducted a direct inspection of the ALVA electric motorcycle in Cikarang, Bekasi, and tried the latest model, Alva N3.
On April 23, 2025, Arsjad Rasjid, President Director of PT Indika Energy Tbk, conducted an inspection at the ALVA electric motorcycle assembly plant located in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This visit aims to directly observe the procedures for making ALVA electric motors and ensure the readiness of domestic technology ahead of major changes in the energy and mobility sectors.
Alva and Indonesia 4.0
The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia in 2023 has identified ALVA as one of the pioneers in the electric motorcycle industry under the Making Indonesia 4.0 program. This program aims to develop Indonesia’s manufacturing technology to be able to compete globally, and ALVA is part of the initiative.
Latest Model: Alva N3
During his visit, Arsjad inspected the core area of the factory, including the production line of the latest Alva N3 model. Arsjad directly tried this electric motor, which has now received a positive response from buyers and is in the process of distribution throughout Indonesia.
ALVA’s commitment to Indonesia as a production center
Arsjad Rasjid expressed his belief that Indonesia has great potential to become a center for the production of electric vehicles with international standards. “We believe that ALVA will have an important role in supporting the development of the local electric vehicle industry and helping to make Indonesia a center for manufacturing and exporting electric motorcycles in the ASEAN region,” Arsjad said in a release published on April 23, 2025.

The CEO of ALVA, Purbaja Pantja, stated that the company fully supports the government’s plan in implementing Making Indonesia 4.0. “Advanced manufacturing technology and interconnected operational systems support the development of ALVA N3 and digitization of the production process, showing that Indonesia is ready to compete at the world level,” explained Purbaja.

The team also visited the central control room which integrates the entire factory operational system with advanced technology. This innovation focuses on improving efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the production process. In addition, ALVA has obtained ISO 9001 certification for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management, which further strengthens the company’s position in the global market.

The visit was closed with discussions between ALVA management, the community of motorcycle owners Alva (Alva Owners Club), and manufacturer suppliers, which aims to share opinions, expectations, and strengthen relations in developing a local electric vehicle ecosystem.
