Koko emphasized that if you are looking for maximum performance, DOHC is the right choice because it has a better power distribution.

On the other hand, the SOHC machine also has its own advantages. Even though it only has one noken axle, some manufacturers use additional technology on the valve so that the engine is still able to supply power evenly at each engine speed. In addition, SOHC is easier to maintain and tends to be more fuel efficient.
