Hytera P60 is present in Indonesia, POC radio with camera and AI

Hytera officially launched the Smart POC Radio P60 in Indonesia on June 19, 2026. This device is present as a professional communication tool based on push-to-talk over cellular (POC) which is equipped with body camera features, video recording, touch screen, and AI-based noise cancellation.

The launch of the P60 was held in Jakarta and involved Hytera Communications Indonesia with its local partner, PT Samafitro. The event was attended by about 100 participants, including partners, end users, and industry stakeholders.

The company targets this device for public safety, transportation, utility, security and corporate sectors. The Hytera P60 not only serves as a voice communication tool, but also combines voice, video, and data communication in one device.

Globally, Hytera puts the P60 as a Smart POC radio that supports POC and MCX communication, runs on Android 12, and uses a 3.5-inch touch screen. The P60 is also equipped with an 8 MP front camera and a 50 MP rear camera. This device supports video recording up to 1080p 60 fps, 4 GB + 64 GB memory, 4,000 mAh battery, USB Type-C, as well as a hybrid slot for Nano-SIM and MicroSD.

These features make the P60 closer to modern field work devices. Officers can not only talk through the push-to-talk button, but also record events, send data, and support visual documentation while working. One of the differentiators of the P60 is in the AI Noise Suppression feature. This feature is designed to reduce noise when the device is used in the field.

Hytera also provides the P60 with 3W speakers which are claimed to be able to produce output of up to 105 dB. This combination is important for users in crowded areas such as ports, transportation, construction projects, industrial estates, or event security.

POC itself utilizes cellular or broadband networks for push-to-talk communication. In the Hytera portfolio, POC solutions can run on 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G networks, and support group calls, dispatch, data exchange, location position, and encryption..

Mars Lee, Director of PT Hytera Communications Indonesia, said P60 expanded its POC Hytera portfolio in Indonesia. “By combining communication and video capabilities in one device, this product helps customers improve operational efficiency,” said Mars Lee..

This statement shows the direction of the market that Hytera wants to target. P60 is not a consumer product like a regular smartphone or HT. This device is more relevant for operational needs that require fast communication, team coordination, field documentation, and data control.

No official price yet

In a press release, Hytera has not mentioned the official P60 price for the Indonesian market. The company also has not detailed sales schemes, service packages, or commercial availability for corporate and agency customers.

The presence of the Hytera P60 shows important changes in the professional communication device market. Field radio is no longer just a matter of sound. Devices such as the P60 start combining camera, AI, data, location, and digital proof management.

For the industry, the challenge is not just buying new devices. Companies also need to set up networks, data management systems, record security, and rules of use in the field.

P60 is a signal that work communication is now moving in a more connected, documented, and data-based direction.
