Facilities for charging electric vehicles on the Trans Java toll road for Lebaran travelers 2026

Homecomers who use electric vehicles now have many options to support travel during Lebaran 2026. There are 55 Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) spread along the Trans Java Toll Road. This facility is placed in various rest areas on various toll roads, ranging from the Jakarta–Tangerang, Jagorawi, Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads, to toll roads in Central Java and East Java such as Semarang–Solo, Solo–Ngawi, Ngawi–Kertosono, and Surabaya–Pasuruan–Malang.

In addition, SPKLU is also available in several other strategic sections such as the Jakarta–Cikampek, Batang–Semarang, Palikanci, Semarang sections A, B, C, to Solo–Yogyakarta toll roads. The presence of this facility provides more choices of charging locations for travelers who use electric vehicles during cross-provincial travel on the island of Java.

Type of charging available

There are several types of charging that can be used by travelers:

  • Fast Charging: With a power of 50–100 kW, it takes about 30–60 minutes.
  • Ultra Fast Charging: With a power of more than 100–200 kW, it takes 15–30 minutes.
  • Charging 22 KW: takes about 3-5 hours to charge.

Darmawan Prasodjo, President Director of PLN, ensures that the facility is ready to serve travelers during this year’s homecoming season.

The following is a list of SPKLU locations in the Trans Java Toll Rest Area which are categorized based on the homecoming and return flow routes:

Line A (direction to Central Java/East)

  • Jakarta – Cikampek section: Km 19a, km 39a, km 57a.
  • Cipali section & Palikanci: Km 102A, Km 130A, Km 166a, Km 207A.
  • Batang – Semarang section: Km 379a, Km 391a.
  • Semarang – Solo/Ngawi section: Km 429a, Km 456a, Km 487a, Km 519a.
  • Ngawi – Surabaya: Km 575a, Km 626a, Km 725A.
  • Surabaya – Probolinggo section: Km 754a, Km 833a.

Line B (East Java/Central Java to Jakarta)

  • Probolinggo – Surabaya: Km 833B, Km 754b.
  • Surabaya – Ngawi section: Km 726b, Km 626b, Km 575b.
  • Solo – Semarang section: Km 519B, Km 487B, Km 456B, Km 424B.
  • Semarang – Batang section: Km 389b, Km 360b.
  • Palikanci & Cipali: Km 229b, Km 208b, Km 164b, Km 130b, Km 101b.
  • Cikampek – Jakarta section: Km 62b, Km 42b, Km 6b.

Additional access & MAIN FACILITIES

To ensure the convenience of travelers, there are several additional access and main facilities:

  • Real-time map: It is highly recommended to monitor the operational status of the SPKLU directly through the Electric Vehicle feature in the PLN Mobile application or use Google Maps with the keyword “SPKLU”.
  • Ultra Fast Charging: Several points are now equipped with an Ultra Fast Charging unit that can charge up to 80% in about 15-30 minutes.
  • Cost Estimation: Filling rates at SPKLU generally range from Rp. 2,400 to Rp. 2,600 per kWh.
