How to Use Auto Parking Features and Reverse Help on Xpeng G6 Pro

The Xpeng G6 Pro electric car has several interesting features that can be considered very sophisticated. One of the main features is Auto Parking and Reverse Assist.

The Auto Parking feature allows the car to do parking automatically without the need for manual interference from the driver. Arief Adityo Nugroho, Learning Partner of Xpeng Indonesia, explained that this feature uses 9 cameras installed in the car along with sonar to detect parking space.

When in the parking area, the camera and sonar sensor will work automatically. The driver only needs to press the desired parking position on the head unit screen. After that, the car will carry out the parking process on its own without the help of the driver.

“The Auto Parking feature is very useful when the parking position is narrow, so that it can minimize the possibility of collisions with other vehicles,” explained Arief.

In addition to auto parking, the Xpeng G6 Pro is also equipped with a reverse assist feature. This feature helps the driver to retreat following the previously passed path.

“If we are in a narrow and jammed alley position, we can use a reverse assist to return to the right direction,” added Arief.

One of the advantages of the Reverse Assist is its ability to remember the backwards as far as 100 meters. Thus, the driver does not have to worry when he has to retreat in a difficult place.

Both features can be accessed through a wide head unit screen, which is 15.6 inches. This makes the use of features easier and more efficient.
