Jetour Motor Indonesia presents their newest model, the X20E, at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This electric car offers an alternative for consumers who are looking for urban vehicles with modern designs and complete features. The X20E is a competitor to cars such as the BYD Atto 1, Seres E1, and Wuling Air EV.
The official price of the X20E is highly anticipated by the people of Indonesia. This is because this car has the potential as the main choice for fans of urban electric cars. Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of Jetour Motor Indonesia, stated that the X20E is designed to be a competitive option and meet consumer expectations. He emphasized that the price would be adjusted in order to meet market expectations.
The X20E is a 5-door electric car with a passenger capacity of 5 people. This is the world’s first right steering wheel with a relatively small size. The length of the car is about 3,720 mm, the width is 1,700 mm, the height is 1,608 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,520 mm. This size makes this car very suitable for use in big cities.
The front view of the X20e is quite unique with a head light that resembles the silhouette of an eagle’s eye. DRL functions as a turn signal, while the height of the automatic headlights and wipers that are active when it rains. The car is also equipped with a spoiler, fog removal on the rear glass, rear fog lights, and hidden door handles that work automatically. All these features give a modern and sporty impression.
In terms of durability, the X20e comes with two options of lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) batteries. The 28.5 kWh battery offers a mileage of 305 km (CLTC), while a 39.3 kWh battery offers a mileage of 405 km (CLTC). The power produced reaches 53 tk and 110 nm of torque.
For charging, the X20E uses CCS2 plugs that are compatible with AC and DC. Fast Charging (DC) performance is able to charge from 30 to 80 percent in 30 minutes. Meanwhile, Home Charging (AC) is able to charge from 30 to 80 percent within 9 hours.
In the interior, the X20E features a 10.25-inch head unit that supports wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay. There are also 6 speakers for good audio quality. A 7-inch digital speedometer and wireless charging for smartphones add to the driver’s comfort.
The safety features of the X20E include a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake, auto hold, start/stop button, and electric mirror. The front suspension of the MacPherson Strut model and the Torsion Beam rear suspension maintain driving comfort. The front and rear brakes are already using a disc model.
In addition, the X20E is equipped with a 3.3 kW V2L feature that can be used as an emergency power bank for electrical devices such as laptops or rice cookers. Color options available include Glacier White, Peach Pink, Phantom Gray, Shadow Blue, and Purple Haze.
