I2C National Car Ready to Release at GIIAS 2025

The presence of the Indonesian national car at GIIAS 2025
Indonesia will soon welcome the presence of the latest national car called the Indigenous Indonesia Car (I2C). This car is planned to be officially introduced at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
Based on information circulating, the I2C concept car carries an SUV design with modern lines that are typical of today’s electric vehicles. This design was developed in collaboration with the well-known Italian design house, Italdesign. This collaboration shows the I2C’s commitment to creating a car that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also in line with global automotive industry standards.
According to the information received, the production version of the I2C will later be present as a battery-based electric vehicle (BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLE (BEV). This shows that I2C is not only focused on design, but also on environmentally friendly technologies that are increasingly in demand by the public.
The platform used to build I2C comes from international partners. Although the identity of the partner is still kept secret, this shows that the I2C has a strong foundation and can compete in the global automotive market.
The presence of the I2C is a breath of fresh air for the national automotive world. This car answers the public’s longing for the presence of cars made by the nation’s children that are able to compete with international brands. In addition, I2C also provides new hope for the development of the local automotive industry.
However, the I2C is not the only local brand that has emerged in the Indonesian automotive industry. Currently, there are two other brands circulating, namely Polytron and Aletra. These two brands have different strategies in marketing their products.
Polytron collaborates with Skyworth, a well-known electronics company, to present products that have been adapted according to the needs of the Indonesian market. Meanwhile, Aletra sells products from Maple Livan, which is a subsidiary of Geely. With this strategy, the two brands are able to expand their market share in the midst of intense competition.
Nonetheless, the I2C has great potential to become one of the major players in the national automotive industry. With the support of attractive design, environmentally friendly technology, and collaboration with well-known companies, I2C can be a symbol of the progress of the Indonesian automotive industry.
With the presence of I2C, the Indonesian people are increasingly convinced that the cars made by the nation’s children can compete with foreign products. This is an important step in efforts to build an independent and sustainable automotive industry.
