NVIDIA showcased its Neural Texture Compression technology by presenting a Tuscan Villa scene, which typically requires 6.5GB of VRAM to render. With the new technique, the same scene only needed 970MB of VRAM. This represents a 7x reduction in hardware requirements while maintaining the same level of visual fidelity.

Unlike traditional methods, Neural Texture Compression works in a unique way. Instead of storing full textures, it compresses them into smaller data representations.
