HypTec HT Luxury SUV Launch at GIIAS 2025
GAC Indonesia officially launched their newest model, Hyptec HT, at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). This model attracted the attention of visitors as one of the most futuristic and premium electric cars displayed at the annual exhibition.
The Hyptec HT is not only an ordinary vehicle, but also a symbol of luxury, sophistication, and the future of sustainable mobility. The design was created by renowned designer Pontaeus, who was previously involved in the development of iconic models such as Ferrari, Bentley, and Lamborghini. The hallmark of HypTec HT is the use of gullwing doors that give a dramatic and futuristic impression.
With dimensions of 4,935 mm in length, 2,935 mm wheelbase, and 200 mm ground clearance, the Hyptec HT offers a balance between aerodynamics and toughness in various road conditions. The exterior of this car has a fastback style with firm lines and 20-inch sport wheels and diamond-cut headlights that strengthen the impression of luxury.
The interior of the Hyptec HT is designed to provide maximum comfort, similar to a first-class aircraft cabin. The front and second row seats can be laid down to an angle of 143 degrees, creating an optimal relaxation atmosphere. In the entertainment and information section, there is an 8.88-inch driver digital screen and a 14.6-inch main touch screen with a high resolution of 2560 x 1660 pixels and a sRGB color accuracy of 100%. The audio system is equipped with 22 speakers with Dolby Atmos technology for a cinematic sound experience.
The entire infotainment system is run by the Qualcomm 8155 chipset for fast and responsive performance. For comfort and health in the cabin, this car is equipped with a panoramic roof and a smart air filter system consisting of a CO2 sensor, PM2.5 filter, automatic disinfection system, and aromatherapy.

From a technical point of view, the Hyptec HT uses a 83 kWh magazine battery with a capacity of more than 600 km in a full charge. The driving force of the permanent magnet type synchronous motor (PMSM) with a power output of 250 kW or the equivalent of 335 horsepower and a maximum torque of 430 Nm.
For charging, this car relies on fast charging technology that can charge the battery from 10% to 70% in just 15 minutes. Safety features and smart driving technology are also a mainstay. Hyptec HT is equipped with the Adigo Smart Driving System which reaches the ADAS 2 level, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Forward Collision Warning, to Automatic Emergency Braking.
The Integrated Body Control Module (ICCM) system allows the car to recognize the driver’s presence automatically, so the vehicle is activated immediately without the need to press any button. “Without the need to press the button, the car is immediately active and ready to run just by stepping on the brake pedal,” said Iqbal Taufiqurrahman.
Warranty and after-sales service
GAC Indonesia provides comprehensive protection to increase consumer confidence in this electric vehicle. The company offers a lifetime warranty for the main battery, drive motor, and controller to the first owner. In addition, there is a vehicle warranty for eight years or 160,000 km, as well as free service and spare parts for up to five years or 100,000 km.
For additional convenience, consumers also get a free 7 kW wall charger complete with installation and two years warranty, as well as emergency assistance services (ERA) for up to eight years for a maximum radius of 40 km.
Variants and prices
Hyptec HT is marketed in two variants, namely Premium at a price of Rp. 691 million and Ultra for Rp. 843.5 million. Both variants are targeted to reach consumers who are looking for electric vehicles with exclusive design, high performance, and competitive long-term value.
