Samsung S25 FE is surprising! Small battery, this is a controversial design reason

Decreased Battery Capacity on Galaxy S25 FE
Many smartphone fans are now paying attention to the Galaxy S25 FE line, which is considered one of the latest models from Samsung. However, the shocking news comes from this device, where the battery capacity is rumored to be smaller than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE.
According to the latest report, the Galaxy S25 FE will be powered by a 4500 mAh battery. This figure shows a decrease of 200 mAh compared to the 4700 mAh battery on the Galaxy S24 FE. Although this decline looks small, for some users, this can be a disappointment in itself, especially because previously there were rumors that the Galaxy S25 FE will come with a 4900 mAh battery.
Design that remains similar to the previous model
In addition to the battery capacity, the exterior design of the Galaxy S25 FE also still maintains similarities with previous Galaxy FE models. This shows that Samsung still puts forward the design concept that has been accepted by the market, despite minor changes in some technical aspects.
The reason behind the decrease in battery capacity
This decrease in battery capacity is allegedly as Samsung’s efforts to create a thinner and lighter device. With an estimated thickness of only 7.4 mm and a weight of about 190 grams, the Galaxy S25 FE will feel slimmer and comfortable to hold than the Galaxy S24 FE which has a thickness of 8 mm and a weight of 213 grams.
However, this decision raises questions. Sacrificing battery life for a thinner display is not always the ideal choice, especially since the Galaxy S25 series already has other options such as the Galaxy S25 Edge, which is designed to compete with the iPhone 17 Air.
Strategy that is still in the leakage stage
Although there is a lot of information circulating, all the details about the Galaxy S25 FE are still leaked. Until now, Samsung has not provided official confirmation regarding the specifications or final design of this device. Therefore, fans and users must remain vigilant and wait for the official announcement from Samsung.
Thus, even though the Galaxy S25 FE looks attractive in terms of design and size, users still need to consider the impact of the decreasing battery capacity. Whether the advantage of a slimmer form can offset the drawbacks of battery life, is a question that still needs answers.
