Minister Purbaya calls Coretax design unusual and slow, allegedly stolen by naughty subordinates

Problems that hinder Coretax applications
The Coretax tax application, which should be the main tool for taxpayers in fulfilling their obligations, is still facing various obstacles. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa revealed that this application often experiences slowness and errors. He also said the design of the application was quite strange, making it difficult for users.
“At Coretax suddenly, there was another report that it was playing around. Even though previously it was gone (the problem was).
Involvement of naughty subordinates
Purbaya emphasized that there are internal parties who are not responsible. According to him, there are his subordinates who work with old vendors who have previously been dismissed due to slow service. This is done secretly, causing Coretax to experience technical problems again.
“There is a contract with a vendor that we have terminated because the service is slow, it is entered again secretly,” he added.
This condition is clearly detrimental to the tax administration and taxpayers. Purbaya confirmed that he would immediately conduct an examination of anyone involved in this matter.
“We will act,” he said. He promised to take firm action against every party who was proven guilty so that Coretax could run optimally again.
Coretax design that makes it difficult for users
In addition to technical problems, Purbaya also said that the design of the Coretax application was considered less effective. According to him, the appearance of the application is too complicated and actually makes it difficult for the public to access tax services.
“Coretax has a rather strange design. When it’s new, it’s made, it’s directly interfaced with the community so it’s easy, right. Apparently it’s made a bit complicated, so that in the middle there is an interface application. There are those who sell to big companies,” he said.
He stressed that the complexity in the Coretax display will soon be corrected. However, this improvement will be carried out in stages so that all functions continue to run smoothly.
“We first secure all the coretax that have these obstacles, after that I cleaned the interface space that was deliberately created,” said Purbaya.
Follow-up actions to fix Coretax
With the problems that arise, Purbaya hopes that the steps taken will help Coretax run well. He emphasized that his party will continue to monitor and correct all existing shortcomings.
Purbaya also said that the improvement of the application design will be carried out in stages, so that users can still access tax services without difficulty.
These steps are expected to increase public confidence in the tax system used. Thus, Coretax will be more efficient and easy to use by all parties.
