Starting Tuesday (14/10/2025), Microsoft will no longer offer free support for Windows 10, the operating system used by millions of computer or laptop users in Indonesia. This support outage includes technical assistance, feature updates, and security updates that are no longer available.

“Hackers will target people, they will exploit weaknesses, and they will want to steal your data,” he said.

If your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11, it is highly recommended to install the device immediately. The minimum specifications for Windows 11 are 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Computers specifically also require a Trusted Platform Module 2.0 (TPM 2.0) which stores credentials in a secure chip, similar to all modern smartphones.
