Confused about choosing Beat CBS or Deluxe? This is the complete difference

Comparison of Honda Beat CBS and Beat Deluxe

Honda Beat is one of the most popular automatic motorcycles in Indonesia because of various variants that are tailored to the needs of consumers. The two most popular types are the Honda Beat CBS and Honda Beat Deluxe. Although both use the same machine, there are some differences in features, designs, and prices that each has its own advantages.

design and appearance

In general, the Honda Beat CBS and Beat Deluxe have a body design that is almost the same as the typical slim character of the Beat family. However, the Beat Deluxe variant looks a little more premium thanks to the use of metal emblems, a choice of exclusive metallic colors, and more luxurious finishing details. Meanwhile, Beat CBS comes with a simpler appearance and focuses on functions, making it suitable for users who want practical scooters at a more affordable price.

Lock System and Security

The difference is quite striking in the locking system. Beat Deluxe is available in a variant that already uses a smart key system, so the rider can start the motor without a conventional key. The system is also equipped with security alarms to provide additional protection from the risk of theft. Instead, the CBS BEAT still uses a simple and easy-to-use standard mechanical key.

engine performance

In the engine sector, both variants use the same specifications. The engine used is 109.5 cc SOHC 4 stroke with Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) technology. The engine is capable of producing about 9 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. This performance is sufficient for daily mobility needs in urban areas and medium distance travel. The fuel system already uses Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) which helps keep fuel consumption efficient. Under normal driving conditions, the fuel consumption can reach about 60 km per liter, making it one of the most economical motorcycles in its class.

frame and suspension

Both Honda Beat CBS and Deluxe use the Enhanced Smart Architecture Frame (ESAF) which is light but still strong. The weight of the vehicle is in the range of 87-89 kg, so the motor feels light and easy to control. For driving comfort, both are equipped:

  • Telescopic front suspension
  • Single rear suspension with swing arm

This combination is quite effective in reducing shocks when passing through uneven roads.

braking system

In the braking sector, both variants use the same configuration, namely:

  • Hydraulic Disc Brakes on the Front Wheel
  • drum brakes on the rear wheels

Both are also equipped with a Combi Brake System (CBS) which helps distribute braking more stablely between the front and rear wheels.

Additional features

Beat Deluxe offers several additional features compared to the CBS type, such as:

  • More modern digital instrument panel
  • USB Charger Type A
  • Luggage about 12 liters with lighting
  • Idling Stop System (ISS) on several variants

While the CBS BEAT uses analog-digital panels and trunk without additional lights.

Price Honda Beat 2026

In the Indonesian market, the prices of these two variants have a difference that is not too far.

  • Honda Beat CBS: Around IDR 19 Million
  • Honda Beat Deluxe: around IDR 20–21 million depending on the variant and features

This price difference is comparable to the additional premium features offered in the Deluxe variant.
