There it is stated that a mixture of unleaded gasoline and ethanol (grain alcohol), known as gasohol, is commercially available in certain areas. This type of mixture is recommended for vehicles if not more than 10% ethanol. However, it should be noted that this gasoline-ethanol mixture has a lower octane number than recommended for gasoline.
