Introduction to SUV Tai 7 from BYD
BYD, a leading Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, through the Fang Cheng Bao sub-brand will soon launch and deliver the TAI 7 SUV in September. The leader of the brand, Xiong Tianbo, conveyed this plan in a question and answer session on Weibo some time ago. According to the information provided, the first batch of this hybrid SUV is expected to be available at Fang Cheng Bao outlets in late August.
SUV TAI 7 DIMENSIONS
The Tai 7 SUV has dimensions that are quite large, namely a length of 4,999 mm, a width of 1,995 mm, and a height of 1,865 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,920 mm. This information has been previously disclosed by BYD and suggests that this model is designed to provide spacious interior space.
Focus on driving needs in urban areas
According to information provided by the Fang Cheng Bao brand last month, the Tai 7 model will focus more on urban driving needs. With a design suitable for urban environments, this SUV is designed to provide comfort and practicality for urban users.
Advanced technology features
The TAI 7 is equipped with the Gods Eye smart steering system from BYD. This system is designed to improve safety and comfort while driving. In addition, this model will also offer versions with and without LiDAR, so users can choose according to their needs.
Battery Variation and Range
For the all-wheel drive variant, the TAI 7 is equipped with a 35.6 kWh battery that offers a CLTC battery range of up to 180 kilometers. Meanwhile, the standard two-wheel drive distance variant uses a 26.6 kWh battery with a CLTC battery range of up to 135 kilometers. When the fuel is fully charged and the power is fully charged, the Tai 7 is able to reach a combined range of more than 1,300 kilometers.

On August 12, BYD launched a self-developed tablet. This tablet will be a new feature used in the Tai 7 SUV. The use of this technology is expected to improve the driving experience with advanced and interactive features.

The brand currently offers the BAO 5 and Bao 8 off-road hybrid SUVs from the BAO series, as well as the Tai 3 compact family SUV of the TAI series.
